Learning to play music with others in a band setting is at the heart of Jam Street! 
Learning to listen to others and play in the group, compromise, make musical decisions and then learning to perform are all skills that are necessary as a musician as well as in every day life. Learn to play your instrument while playing in a band! Or take private lessons if that is what you prefer. A combination of both is great too!
